Pros

Work life balance, no overtime....In my 3 years of experience i was asked to extend my shift only 5-6 times. Sometimes u get salary increment twice in an year but depends on some factors like ur date of joining, impetus cycle, eligibility etc. A good company to work with if ur manager is good.

Cons

Unnecessary tools are used to check productivity n utilization, no work from home

Pros

Can not think of any “pros” per se. The company holds zero allegiance to its employees. Maybe being able to work virtually?

Cons

Outsourcing division was purchased from Aon Hewitt earlier this year by the Blackstone Corporation. An initial round of cuts was made at the end of March, first of April. Everyone was told it would be the only cuts that were to be made. New structuring took place, new assignments, new managers and clients, etc. In May, they held another round of cuts based off a 5 question rating scale assigned to you by your previous manager. You had zero input. There was no review given and your current manager was not made aware of what was transpiring. Upper management boasts of an “open door policy” and of transparency...that’s not the case with this company. The raises were a joke. One every other year and at most, a 2% increase. No upward mobility to another role. When you hit the job market, you soon realize their “proprietary” software does not provide you with any significant experience you can parlay into another field. It’s meant for Aon Hewitt/Alight only. And they also tell you they will set you up for success through “team” members as well as a plan should you have any issues. This too is a joke. System analysts are so bogged down with work they are unable to mentor or teach anyone and your “manager” more times than not would be irritated if you disturb them during a phone call or while seeking help. All learning experiences are typically taught via webinars or through their “online” courses. Managers covering other manager’s backsides because they were previously roommates. Not to mention they directly reported to someone who was also a former roommate. Think about that...2 managers (former roommates) and their superior (also their former roommate) assigned the same set of people. If you had any issues with one, exactly who do you turn to? Could this not be considered a conflict of interest? I had extremely high expectations for this company in the beginning. 7 years later, had I known then what I know now, I would not have accepted the job.
