Pros

Working from home, great people to work with, great PTO if you have been working for a while, 10 + years.

Cons

Benefits are lower that market standard for a benefits company. If your not liked enough, you have no opportunity to advance to a new role. Plenty of people that tell you to apply for new opportunities, but after you have an interview, lack of feedback is disturbing.

Pros

- Not in office (tethered) - Hourly work based on experience - Great introductory product knowledge to take elsewhere (Independent contractor work, agency work) - 401k match (measly)

Cons

- Borderline ILLEGAL overtime policies - Customer service/Minor sales role disguised as an advisory role, and pay will show you that - The commission structure is confusing on purpose ($21-24 an hour or 30+ an hour and no commission) - The tools used are very old - Tethered to your computer, not truly remote, but work-from-home - Work Life Balance seems to be frowned upon even though we are at the comfort of our own homes - Management can be rude and does not care about you whatsoever - If you're young and computer savvy, you feel out of place because older employees are a lot slower than you are - They make you feel like you're replaceable - Very rigid - CSAT scoring system is rigged against you - Call center environment - Hard to upsell expensive insurance options - Try to get you toget their insurance right before laying you off, so you'll be stuck with a (~$500 monthly bill with no pay)
