      Pros

      Great benefits, great people, they pay well. Interesting product and strong brand recognition.

      Cons

      This went from being a really great place in 2009 - 2011, but then it all fell apart in the last year. Now they have blown out all of the old senior leadership and replaced them with people who have a fundamentally different set of values and priorities. The marketing department has been in a constant state of flux for 18 months, and the recent changes have been for the worse, not the better. Personal lives and work/life balance are no longer respected. Face time is prioritized above all else, far more important than results. Where we had a culture that was collaborative and based on teamwork and mutual respect, we are now expected to play politics and everybody is out for themselves. CYA, finger pointing, and ignoring the problems are the only way to survive the new regime. If they don't like you, they will make your life miserable until you quit.

      If you have worked here long enough you can have some freedom.

      Cons

      Management has no clue what they’re doing. The company seems to be spiraling. Making changes constantly that are contradictions to previous changes. Drs feel undervalued. Employees feel undervalued and over worked. Not appreciated. When they say you are just a number, that’s exactly what you are at align. This company used to feel like a prestigious job to have. Now it feels like a stepping stone. There’s a reason employees continue to leave the company.

      Cons

      Micro management runs rampant. It was normal to track data in 3 different places. PowerBI, Insight, and then in an excel spreadsheet that someone made up. The Territory Managers were tasked with doing way too much and their quotas were set sky high so very few actually earned their on target compensation. Senior leadership cares more about their expensive marketing campaign with the NFL than they do about paying their people. Territory Managers had not seen an increase in their on target compensation in close to 10 years.
