Pros

Huge company growth leading to the ability to change roles, grow your current role(s), promotion, and transfer. Still has small-business feel, and your input has lots of sway.

Cons

Still have small-business feel, sometimes answers or guidance can be quickly outdated. Sometimes requests can be denied because a lack of understanding/context. Cross departmental communication needs work. Departments are slow to change operating methods to be scalable. in the time I've been working here, we've quintupled in size.

Pros

You get to live in/ around Salt Lake City. “Fast-Paced”. Trust me you won’t run out of work to do. The company loves to show how much it cares about its customers and sometimes that care bleeds over to its employees.

Cons

Pay is lower than all other data centers in the area. Management has no clear vision. Employees are treated worse “perks-wise” than any other Data Center I’ve worked at. Including the dreaded AWS, NTT, and Microsoft.

Pros

Aligned offers incredible benefits, the people are all in and committed to driving innovation and excellence, and the opportunity to grow in a meaningful way and quickly.

Cons

You have to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to create structure and processes while living in the grey. There isn't time for hand holding, you have to dive right in with little hand holding. That is ideal for me but know that may not be ideal for others. Processes are not well defined but getting there!
