Pros

One thing that always impresses me is the quality of the people that I work with. The work's challenging, but varied, and the "one firm" mindset (aided by the firm having a single global P&L) does actually mean that separate geographies work together fluidly, with minimal internal politics

Cons

Hours can be quite intense, but the firm has recently gotten a lot better with regards work-life balance and flexibility.

Cons

High-intensity environment may not be for everyone Required to work from client site through the week, if required Not enough opportunities to socialize and build internal network at work

People join us for the intensity of "When it Really Matters" situations. We hope you feel supported during these times. We have many opportunities to build networks across the firm, including our Employee Resource Groups, informal get togethers, and firm-wide meetings. Please reach out to your People Business Partners or your community leader if you'd like to discuss any of these opportunities or how we can help support you in your career with AlixPartners. Kind regards, Katie Whensley - People Business Partner

Pros

They are very supportive of professional training and will pay for ACCA qualification - quite relaxed if you fail exams compared with other firms - i.e you don't have to pay for your resit yourself. Benefits package is reasonable. Other staff members are very friendly, intelligent and good to work with.

Cons

During busy periods, can often have to work long hours, but that's industry standard. Sometimes projects entail all nighters. As an analyst, some statutory duties become repetitive and not stimulating.
