Pros

AlixPartners is a company that gives you many opportunities to learn and grow your career. From Interns gaining exposure, bringing fresh ideas to the table, to becoming a senior manager leading others and shaping their own career AlixPartners gives you opportunity and compensates very well.

Cons

The world of consultancy is hard, fast-paced, and sometimes challenging especially when processes are sometimes at most soft guidance. A lack of processes, accountability, ownership and senior decision makers who aren't SME's can be a recipe for disaster at sometimes.

Pros

Most people join Alix and stay for a very long term. This is because the place offers a good balance between WLB and compensation. More family-oriented than other consulting firms.

Cons

Long hours and frequent travel. They recently stopped sponsoring visas, making it a less attractive place for MBA recruiting
