Pros

Drivers and Movers are hard workers (for the most part). The two Chris bosses are good guys but aren't aware of the real issues of their poor trainers on the team. -it's not hard work and it's fun work -great experience builder and challenging (in a good way) at times to close deals with the sales manager -helping customers get the stress of moving squared away is rewarding

Cons

The "training program" for new Ops Mgrs is basically a test of endurance in Dallas, Tx. They require you to start at 6am, and you're lucky to be done by 8pm each night. Weekends are required as well. Training pay is adequate and temp housing is satisfactory (extended stay). I was promised Cleveland or Phoenix, but that changed 3 times. I was promised 3-4 weeks in Dallas (max), and that turned into 6 weeks with no light at the end of the tunnel. I tried to talk to Chris G about it, but he saw this as weakness. I walked out when they decided to send me to San Antonio instead of Cleveland (home) or Phoenix (my location of preference). A colossal waste of time, but it was a great learning lesson.

Pros

At least two months of training for administrative jobs. Promotes family environment, team work, administration support and good money to be made.

Cons

To judge your level of commitment, you have to fly yourself to Texas for the interview. The stress level is thru the roof and they expect 150% output because their motto is "Never Enough". They will never tell you how your rate your performance bonus but in the end, its about 1% of the months income. On average, I was working 70-80hours a week. Everyone in my training class (8 operations managers) either quit or was fired within 6 months of being in their position. As I said the stress is outrageous and if you have a family, this isn't the job for you. They'll promise support and when you get to your branch office, they will help you but once you start asking to fill positions in your office or have problems with labor staffing, its only a matter of time before they release you. And more than likely, if they owe you money (They owed me over $6400), you'll never get it and they won't return your calls either. It was also difficult making friends in the corporate offices only to find out later they left or were terminated because of stress. Very high turnover. Over booking client jobs that corporate encourages and calling the client the day of their move to try and postpone them to another day or worse, that you won't be able to help them at all.

Pros

I was offered a position with a different company the day before I was supposed to start here.

Cons

I was hired as an O.S.E. only to find I would be moving houses for a couple of months or so but no one was certain how long it might be. My wage went from commision based to "12ish" an hour... they were not certain of that either. When I went to fill out all my papers I noticed that they entered 10.50 hr. in the system for my wage. When I called them on it he said, "Oh I'm not sure what your getting paid so that's just what we put in there." Maybe that's true but it's sketchy none the less. While doing more paper work I must have heard 50 F-bombs and crude jokes from the manager and some other guy in a tiny little office while their receptionist was trying to help a customer over the phone. Completely Unprofessional!
