I was let go with zero notice due to workforce reductions (completely fine, business is business I understand), however they handled the separation awfully. After 2 years of hard work, they offered only 1 weeks severance and they DO NOT pay out unused PTO hours if your state does not legally require it (only 9 states do). There was no official meeting from management, just a single 3 minute phone call on my personal cell on a random Friday and that was that. No further communication from my direct supervisors on the matter. Benefits and PTO are awful. 6 days PTO/yr and you accrue 2 hours per paycheck so you have to wait a full year to even have all 6 days. They also play favorites and top priority positions that actually pay well are only given to certain people, and when you're stuck with only unviable job orders to work, they tell you get your numbers up. The weekly KPI's are unreasonable for the job orders they provide you with and they don't ever change even if the entire industry is on a steep decline. All in all, you are just a number here and they will not go above and beyond for you, so why should you do so for them?
