Pros

The office environment is clean and modern.

Cons

This place is a complete nightmare if you care about your sanity or ethics. The turnover is insane, most people quit within the first two months because the work is mentally draining and soul-crushing. You spend hours on the phones convincing people they have problems they don’t, which feels awful and leaves a pit in your stomach every day. Management acts like they’re gods, expecting you to worship the numbers while ignoring how miserable everyone is. The training is superficial and deceptive, giving the impression you can earn commissions, but the reality is that most never see a dime beyond the base pay. The culture is toxic, the pressure is terrible, and the constant churn makes it feel like no one actually cares about their employees.

All Sales activity is conducted in compliance with regulatory standards, and ethical conduct is a core expectation for every role. This is a performance-driven, phone-based position that requires consistency and resilience. Commission opportunities are clearly communicated, and many advisors successfully earn commission and build long-term careers with us. While not every role is the right fit for every individual, we remain committed to maintaining a professional and supportive environment and address leadership concerns promptly when needed.

Pros

We have a flexible schedule on paper.

Cons

I say "on paper" because that's not really the case. The work environment here is hectic and stressful, partly due to the overwhelming workload and brutal work hours. But it's also mainly due to the toxic and hostile leadership. Our leaders are very good at shifting the blame from themselves to the employees, and being terrible at communication definitely doesn't help.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While debt advisors generally work a 40-hour week with one scheduled Saturday shift per month, any extra hours are completely voluntary. We’re proud of the positive environment we strive to maintain, and many team members have been with us for years—a testament to that commitment. Alleviate takes leadership concerns seriously and addresses them promptly when needed.

Pros

The pay structure is fair, and the office space is pleasant, but that is the only positive.

Cons

- Goals made no sense compared to the workload and constant system failures. - Every day felt like firefighting rather than achieving anything meaningful. - Clients grew frustrated, and employees were left overwhelmed and unheard. -Feedback that could have solved real problems was ignored repeatedly. - The impossible demands pushed people to quit faster than replacements could be found.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback as a former negotiator. We're sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations. While this role does require dedication and strong problem-solving skills, many of our negotiators find it both financially rewarding and professionally fulfilling. Still, we understand that every experience is unique. We’re proud to have built a team of long-term employees who contribute to a stable, knowledgeable, and supportive environment. Our goal is to always equip every team member with the tools, training, and encouragement needed to succeed, and we regret if your experience ever felt overwhelming. We appreciate your acknowledgement of fair compensation and a positive office environment. If there’s anything specific you’d like to share that could help us improve, we welcome you to reach out directly at HR@alleviatefinancial.com.
