      Pros

      The firm definitely puts a lot of emphasis on superior research, both on the buy side and the sell side. There is a lot of information sharing that goes on among folks on the buy side.

      Cons

      The Chinese wall between the buy and sell side is obviously necessary but limits some collaboration. The two sides have somewhat different cultures, with the sell-side bringing in a lot of people from the outside.
