Pros

The guys/gals you work with are typically a solid group of individuals. The immediate supervisors are pretty good. They pay is decent, and the dogs are fantastic.

Cons

Like almost every other review in here, leadership is dog water. I have never seen a CEO so out of touch with everything aside from his and the shareholders wallets. They quite literally get around having to pay your more at specific sites( i.e. cargo) by lowering your hourly rate while you're there. As a technicality to pay you less. The CEO will go on a tear and write up anybody who is slightly late for any reason. Then proceeds to show up at a football game he was scheduled to meet the crew at 2 hours late. His line, "man, you boys wouldn't believe the traffic we just sat in." Disgraceful leadership, they make my second Lt from the military look like a damn genius in leading men. The only words to describe: Out of touch, incompetent, and just plain greedy.

Pros

Good pay, mostly easy work days, some harder than others, easy punch in and out, most work posts are unsupervised, integrity is key.

Cons

Hours at good work posts are held up by older men and guys who’ve been here longer. Seniority holds the best positions. Hours can change often, weekly. And you will be called and asked* to work most of your days off, sometimes while you’re on PTO too. The dog is held hostage, because they know you will and your family will absolutely fall in love with the dog and you cannot keep it until you retire them at 8.
