Pros

Close to home. You can come to work and sleep, watch movies on your phone, do absolutely NOTHING the entire time you are there and management does not care. But don't get caught actually doing your job; they may move you to another post and completely change your schedule.

Cons

Living paycheck to paycheck (barely) because they don't pay a livable wage. Management lets certain people do what they want to prevent people from complaining about the management. Adults acting like preschoolers because they did not get their way or they got in trouble. Extremely frustrating when you are an employee who comes to work and does their job and anything asked of you and you do it without problems, but you get moved because you complained that someone doesn't do their job. I only started with the company because I needed the money. Its not much money but I need it. I really wish I would have never accepted employment.

Pros

Union benefits if you are lucky to be at a site like mine (Uncommon in this industry) Union pay that's well above national average plus overtime ( Also uncommon) Good co-workers Good site supervisors

Cons

Payroll discrepancies take weeks to resolve. No career growth outside of work site Poor communication by management Managers holding employees back from opportunities at other sites. Unprofessional at the Branch level and disorganized. Impossible to get a hold of anyone in the branch office to resolve payroll or HR issues. Most managers are incompetent and lazy Nepotism

Pros

good sites available, mostly responsible officers and managers. benefits offered.

Cons

benefits offered but extremely expensive, wages not current with cost of living, no raises unless the client agrees to it in their contract - which rarely happens. managers well-compensated at the expense of officers' benefits and wages. Rarely offer overtime becaus managers receive less of a bonus. Can be discriminatve towards women and OVERLY lean towards hiring ex-military. Definitely a matter of "who you know" when it comes to placement and promotion.
