Pros
Really flexible schedule with a lot of time off. The staff at Abbott North Western were amazing and overall extremely professional.
Cons
As one would expect this job could be extremely stressful and at times dangerous. Their were a select handful of staff that caused more behavioral issues than they prevented. It was no secret who they were, but there was rarely any disciplinary actions taken to discourage them. The lack of a union for Mental Health associates also created many inequities between MHA's and the rest of the staff on the floors.
