      Sad company to work for

      Pros

      Decent benefits good work / family life balance generous with time off 401k and pensions not a whole lot else. Steady decline over that past few years

      Cons

      Management was a joke- in all levels never clear communication with employees advancement was virtually non-existant pay increases were terrible and employees even were getting paycuts huge work loads jobs well done rewarded with more work from lazy employees LOTS of lazy employees that seemed to fly below the radar

      Pros

      Large, stable company. Great opportunities for advancement. Flexibility in work/life balance. Hours are fine. Really good location. Really friendly coworkers.

      Cons

      Relative rating. Poor communication. Budget cuts in things like recognition. Combining community service and recognition events. Dropping some of the flair that the internship had.

      Pros

      It's a job with ok pay and benefits. As a processor, there's no worry of a backlog of work after returning from some time off.

      Cons

      Little chance for advancement with a significant increase in pay. Boring, repetitious work. Limited training leads to too many errors in claim handling. Overly complicated claims software with very poor reference documentation also leads to many mistakes. Practically no accountability for mishandled claims since there is no real ownership of a claim. Too much of the "we know what's best" attitude from upper management.
