Unkept Promises

Pros

The pay is pretty good for entry level.

Cons

The overall culture seems lackadaisical. Employees constantly show up 5-10 minutes late for meetings. Consequently, meetings run 5-10 minutes past their scheduled end time, perpetuating the cycle. My manager promised me a training plan in the interview but it's now a year later and I do not feel as if I've learned very much at all. Additionally, my workload has been very light. This not only makes work a bore, but doesn't allow me to contribute to the work of my teammates. When speaking with my manager about this he promised it would get better, but those promises were empty.
