Hostile Work Environment

Pros

Jireh Semiconductor is willing to pay you just about anything you want. The squeaky wheel gets the most oil. CEO genuinely cares about bringing manufacturing back to America and is very motivational.

Cons

Poor communication, high stress, hostile work environment. Company has over-committed to customers and cannot keep up with demand. So although business is good, the work environment is extremely negative and morale is at an all time low.

Pros

There are some very good technicians here, but many of them are limited in scope of standard industry procedures and practices. The time off and benefit packages are very good. The cafeteria is good and inexpensive.

Cons

No procedures or updated specifications. Expected to do it fast rather than good. No parts. No training. No tools. On top of this, add micromanagement and the fact that even operators are above techs in the hierarchy. PMs are almost non-existent. Safety is also a huge issue when working on equipment, because there don't seem to be any respect for boundaries.
