Pros

potential to make a lot as a college grad if you're willing to cold call for a living

Cons

Micromanagement, terrible leadership, long working hours (10 hour workdays) and you would need to have access to your phone and computer even after hours, no real skills developed except soft skills, hard to transition into another industry aside from business development, sales, and deal sourcing within private equity.

Pros

You get to learn a lot about what you don’t like and what a toxic work environment feels like but you do get to meet a lot of people your age (who all hate their job)

Cons

It is a glorified call center and it is a sales job and it is not in any way shape or form a consultancy or executive search or a place where you will gain any hard skills only soft ones like how to balance a bucket load of work that you think is stupid and how to not crack emotionally from how miserable you are
