Pros

- Very nice office - Stocked kitchen with beer for after work (which can be very late) - Good compensation - Frequent company events in and out of the office

Cons

- Upper Management is tenured and out of touch with what is actually going on. They don't add any value and don't do anything on a daily basis besides catch up with people (which helps no one) - Hours are getting longer and your success is largely up to what client accounts you've been given to run - Your interest in specific clients is not taken into account, you're staffed based on organizational needs - It is difficult to keep new employees motivated...consistently hiring curious, smart, driven individuals and then not challenging them creates issues for those trying to lead - The "opportunity" you get to lead is put on top of your other responsibilities so the longer you're here the more overwhelming it gets

The blind leading the blind

Pros

- Open floor plan facilitates fraternization - Good snacks and beer on tap after hours, which is nice because you slave away after hours on a daily basis

Cons

- Management is inexperienced, incompetent, and very unapproachable. There is a handful of souls over 30 who work at the firm. Directives and feedback are given in a convoluted and inappropriate manner, and nobody has any idea how to handle even the slightest of problems. - There is no HR department or system for dealing with problems in the workplace between employees. - The work is monotonous and mind-numbing. It consists mainly of spamming hundreds of people per day on networking sites to participate in consultations or join the firm's network. The firm has been getting in trouble with professional networking outlets for abusing their licenses. The only tangible skills one can build in this job are basic phone and communication skills. - Job security does not exist. 40 new Analysts started between July and September of 2014 and only 30 remain 8 months later. The are frequent firings of those who don't hit their sales quotas and Analysts are fearful that they will not be around if they don't hit their quota each month. The firm attributes this to "natural attrition" that they pretend is common amongst companies: it's not. If every company had 25%+ of their employees leave before their first year was over there would not be very many large companies... - Almost laughable micromanaging culture instilled in employees from the very beginning due to distrust of others' work. Employees are miserable. Let people breathe. - Most positive reviews on here are due to pressure from People Operations to compensate for the company's declining rating.
