Beautiful facility, nice people, great location

Cons

The company has downsized a lot over the past year. All manufacturing is outsourced, and they sold off the International portion of the business. One of the outcomes of the whole sell-off package was a commitment to shed $20 million per year of operating expenses, and everything is on the table, including jobs. A recent RIF sent 20% of the workforce out the door. To their credit, though, the layoff was very even-handed; jobs at the top were cut along with the middle and bottom strata.

No good reasons anymore to work here anymore, unless you want to lose your job. Used to be better when DK was CEO.

Cons

Upper management is destroying this company. Sad. People get fired constantly. Used to be an awesome place to work 5 years ago.

Great facilities, great people, good benefits/pay Your experience here will really depend on your manager and their willingness to support you and your individual development plan.

Cons

Alphatec is currently undergoing a lot of changes and is downsizing and cutting costs. There is a lot of pressure on the sales team which is felt by all departments. The atmosphere isn't very positive and everyone is afraid their job is at risk.
