Pros

Compensation is better than fair. Benefit programs are very rich and generous. There are really smart employees and the main office is in a great location. Interesting and trending projects and programs.

Cons

Little to no transparency between senior leadership and employees. Decisions that effect the employees are made in a vacuum and little to no consideration is made when making decisions to terminate or move out employees. Some senior leadership take the position of avoiding confrontation versus having the tough conversations. The employees are mature and welcome those conversations, but don't ever get it. Employee appraisals are only something that is talked about, but doesn't happen on an annual basis as described int the employee handbook. Little to no feedback is provided on performance at anytime except when you're being told you're no longer needed. Separation packages are all over the place, completely subjective, much like the promotion process. A lot of effort is put into talking about the culture, but its all about what looks good on paper and recruiting efforts. The culture is one of a bunch of anxious employees hoping to stay billable for fear of being let go.
