      Altar’d State is one of the best and most passionate retail brands I’ve ever worked for! I started working for the brand back in 2016 and over the past couple of years, the company has grown more than anyone could imagine. The brand values all opinions of employees, all the way down to a brand representative level. I started as a Visual Assistant Leader and came from a very coroporate brand. AS really opened my eyes to being a true creative and truly helping me understanding the impact I have on the 4 walls of my business. I love the personal connections my team is able to build with our local non profits and even our sponsor children in Peru - and the company really helps making you feel fulfilled within the give back parts of this business, and this is a big driver for me and keeps me passionate. There is also so much growth potential with AS! I have worked in 4 different stores in the past 2.5 years and worked my way up through volume tiers before feeling 100% ready to take on my own store! If you have the drive to grow the opportunity is there!

      Cons

      There aren’t many! Like any other retailer there are always struggles and frictions and that comes with learning and growing, not only within each store but as a brand. I have found that if you aren’t passionate about growth and dedicated to a bigger cause AS isn’t always the right fit. But if you have that passion, this brand is the right brand to work for.
