Pros

Very positive company. Altar'd State has made me feel they genuinely care about both its employees and its guests/customers. Everyone that I've had contact with at home office has been very friendly. With Altar'd State being a smaller company the people at home office can/do make an effort to remember you. Their stores are beautiful! And the fashion they sell is on trend and unique. All employees (even brand reps aka sales associates) are given extra responsibilities (known as captain rolls, ex: jewelry captain) which help the entire team get invested and take ownership of the store. Each store is given easy ways to get involved with local charities and volunteer work. It's amazing to go to work and leave knowing you are helping to make the world a bit brighter!

Cons

This is not a job that allows you to clock in, hangout and leave. Altar'd State stores do require planning, time and passion to maintain. You have to work at work... surprise!
