Pros
Working at the Consolidated Container Company has been everything I could have ever expected, and more. Within two hours on my first day, I sincerely felt like I was making a difference. The company's culture is defined through their 7 Guiding Principles (values) which help inform all key business decisions. What is incredible about the Guiding Principles is seeing them in action. Everyday I go into work, I see people embodying the Guiding Principles at all levels of the organization . They aren't just something we hang up on a wall. Each employee sincerely makes a concerted effort to live them through all decisions that are made.
I also have had the opportunity to make a real difference, and early in my career here. It's always intimidating going into a new company, but to see how willing everyone is to help, and share knowledge, truly is something all companies should try to employ.
Not only is it a great place to work, but having the opportunity to work on an amazing team, as well as deal with challenging, cross-functional work assignments, is something you don't get at most employers. Also, given the medium size of the company, the senior leaders are very accessible. I have learned an incredible amount in a short time, and I'm not sure there is another company out there where I could be in a better position than I am now
Cons
I cannot really think of a downside. The only downside I can even remotely think of is I wish I was working here sooner!
