Pros

The best thing going for this bank is their brand. They are a Certified B corp. and advertise as a socially, environmentally responsible company.

Cons

They treat their employees poorly. I can only speak to my own department but they don’t listen to ideas or suggestions from employees. Meetings held were to listen to the sr. Mgr in silence. Layoffs are frequent throughout the bank on an annual basis. Salaries tend to be below market.

Pros

Some genuinely amazing and kind people work here who are values-first and love what they do. Loose dress code, hybrid environment. Pension vests after only 5 years.

Cons

There are a lot of racist higher-ups and HR is not on your side. Executive teams rife with Boomer mindset, barely anything gets done, and stressful environment with critical teams not getting any hires or support. Not many opportunities for growth. People are saddled with 10 jobs and many teams are juggling responsibilities back and forth, with no one taking accountability. Some people are snakes and talk behind your back, making it hostile for POC and women.
