Pros

Amazing Explorers Academy took over when they bought out the school I was working for, Academy of Excellence. They came in the day the employees found out about the sale with the most condescending tone deaf presentation I’ve ever seen. They spent 15 minutes “teaching” a room full of educators what STEM and STEAM are. When asking why you’re being asked to sign various paperwork including NDA’s management accused me of being hostile. I’m simply not going to sign a paper that is of no benefit to me without explanation or incentive. They rely on assuming employees don’t know better and can take advantage.

Cons

You will lose any sense of creativity or autonomy as a teacher. Not only will they remove all of a teachers classroom decorations/tools (paid for out of pocket) they will also begin enforcing an ugly gas station polo dresscode and will implement their own lesson plans. Moral of the story they don’t trust their teachers at all but will ramble on about how “you’re more than babysitters” it’s all fluffy language and easy to see through
