Pros

Good pay if you need quick cash; direct deposit every Tuesday and Friday. Flexibility in scheduling and Independence while doing job

Cons

Many inconsistencies. I had to wait 30 minutes to load packages in my car, which eats at the time block you're assigned. The wear and tear on your car is a definite con. I drive on average 110-140 miles for a 4 hour block, which pays $72. Other cons include Amazon giving packages that are 25-30 minutes out of your itinerary route. So you drive the 25-30 minutes east for ONE package, drive the 25-30 minutes west, then continue your itinerary. It seems that they don't dole out the packages with much effort. After all, no skin off their back.

Pros

Good pay depending on vehicle, hustling for a good route...

Cons

Wear and tear. I have been working at Amazon Flex for about to weeks now in Boston and have already put up over 1,000 miles into my car. Depreciation is not as bad as I drive a car north of 190k miles but definitely take that into consideration since I have seen lots of 2012+ models in there. At the beginning I used to grab whatever cart/route they gave me or whatever was next to where I parked, not anymore. I have seen people loading routes and people checking just about every cart in the building to pick the easiest one. I hate doing it but it is what it is, cant break my back while someone gets pays just the same to go around the block. And since it was not mentioned in any other comments, bringing packages back to the station is a pain in the behind... Finishing 20+ miles away from the station after 9 or during peak hours and going back to the station suuucks. Most routes take about 3 hrs to deliver and around 60% of the time you have to go back to the station. That 3 hour route you picked up turns into a 4+ shift. App is a mess sometimes, had to turn back to the station 3 times because my route completely dissapears. Had scanned over 55 packages once and had to unload them from my car, place it on a cart, bring it over to an assistant so they can scan them again, scan them and organized them on my car yet again.

Pros

Nothing nothing nothing and nothing ... Nothing nothing nothing and nothing ... am I done with my 20 word minimum yet? Cause there's literally NO pros

Cons

Using your own car, your success depends on the warehouse workers, having to wait hours to get inside the warehouse with overly stressed associates
