Pros

*minimal human interaction most of the time

Cons

*Unrealistic expectations (cannot deliver the number of packages in the allotted time) *Mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausting (every shift pushes you to human limits) *Other drivers on the road, random people, and some customers range from rude to out-of-control/psychotic towards you knowing you work for Amazon and when you are doing precisely what you are trained to do (A semi-truck tried to run me off the road multiple times, people will scream at you, etc) *The Flex app is so ridiculous and inaccurate that you will have to perform U-turns after every stop because it will tell you the wrong way to go. *Micromanaging turns good drivers into hazards due to too many rules

They should pay more

Pros

The only time the work was good was during the first 2 months of covid that they paid an extra $2 per hour. Flexible schedule, you choose your own shifts.

Cons

Amazon was good place to work at the time. Covid hit and we all still had our jobs. Prior to that we were all only allowed to get 20 hours per week as it was a part time warehouse. But when covid started, many stores closed and in turn the volume of orders increased for us. They kepts on adding onto the work load, the number of steps per order, the number of orders per hour and per assoacite and it was very hard to keep up and it was not like we were being compensated for the extra work that was put on our shoulders. If you were not fast enough they would find a reason to fire you, it was easier to replace and train someone new to be faster than to bring a overworked old associate up to speed. It's not like Amazon does not have the money to pay it's workers properly, come on. there were also times you could not get a since shift. I went from an FC associate to Problem Solver, the down side? more responsibilities, no raise. They made the one good manager who would stand up for lower/younger associates walk out. All because their values as a company are low.

Flex RT

Pros

There really arent any pros on Flex Shift RT which is reduced time.

Cons

There are no available day hours 7:00am to 5:30pm offered to Flex Shift employees. Certain employees are being blocked from day shift hours by Management & HR. The only day shift hours offered are 12:00pm until 5:30 pm & the rest of hours offered are 6pm to 11pm or 11:30pm to 4:30am. On the RT Flex schedule it is required to meet 30hrs per week & that requires trying to juggle half shifts to meet the weekly requirement. If you miss 10min or 10 hrs, you are given 1 point out of a balance of 6 points before termination. You are required to make that time up or you get another point for not meeting the required hrs & what is called an infraction which if you get 3 infraction you are terminated. You get an infraction if you wake up sick but dont call Management 16hrs before your shift. Points are on a 60 day fall off period. Flex has been a nightmare
