Pros

- Set your own schedule - Friendly co-workers - All processes are extremely streamlined and are very straightforward once accustomed to the facility - Fast paced environment making time usually fly by

Cons

- Limited availability of shifts depending on the season - Must learn most functions and operating procedure after being shown only once, perhaps twice if you're lucky (favors fast learners) - High turn-over, always people being hired in this role, you are replaceable and certainly will be if your are slacking about.

Pros

Short routes usually 3 hours in length Quick cash, paid twice weekly

Cons

The routing map is completely automated and makes huge errors in a lot of cases, which all count against the driver Any little problems (no instructions for gated community, businesses being closed or customer not present for delivery) count against driver It is very difficult to communicate map issues or problems encountered during deliveries Some routes are 40 miles, some are 100 miles, not always worth the gas money

Pros

The pay is pretty good for menial labor, it starts off at 15$ per hour, and they sometimes offer up to 5$ extra per hour for certain shifts and bonuses for top performers, but extra pay is inconsistent. The job itself isn't very stressful, management is fairly hands off, there's a variety of tasks to do which helps with boredom a little bit. Applying to the job is dead easy, no interviews or references required and it's all online. Hours are very flexible.

Cons

Here's the flip side of the coin: hours are too flexible. All of the associates select which shifts they want to work through an app, and there's often more demand for shifts than are available, so the number of hours you get from week to week can vary. The inconsistency can make this an unreliable source of primary income, but it's great as a second job. Also, their system tracks how many tasks you do per hour through your scanner, so you can't be off task for too long. It's not hard to hit performance targets so as long as you don't seriously slack off you won't hear anything from management, but the looming threat that your every move is being monitored is annoying and a little creepy.
