Fast paced, good visibility, innovative products

Cons

Management teams are lacking vision and ability to deep dive into tech stack which is causing new projects to fail miserably in-spite after throwing multiple SDEs at the projects. Too much bureaucracy and process management but the pace of innovation is not up to the mark.

Was lucky to get put on a great team in an org that doesn’t have a lot of the bad qualities you hear about Amazon. Coworkers are good, and my projects are okay. Work life balance is reasonable as long as you are productive and promotions are straightforward.

Cons

Mandatory 3 day in office policy, understaffed for the workload we have, not much freedom over the projects you have, overly optimistic deadlines set by external clients/PMs, lackluster RSUs until 3rd year, no refreshers
