Pros

I worked as a Customer Care Representative at Amazon for two years, and overall, it was a mixed but valuable experience. One of the biggest pros was the ability to work from home, which gave me the flexibility to manage my time better and maintain a good work-life balance. The role definitely helped me enhance my communication and problem-solving skills, as I was constantly interacting with customers from diverse backgrounds. Amazon provided solid training and support, which made it easier to grow professionally, even in a fast-paced environment. I was recognized for my performance during my time there, which felt rewarding and motivating. Although I've since moved on to new opportunities, the experience I gained at Amazon continues to benefit me in my career.

Cons

While working as a Customer Care Representative at Amazon had its benefits, there were definitely some challenges as well. The fast-paced nature of the job could be overwhelming at times, especially during peak seasons when call volumes and pressure were high. Although working from home offered flexibility, it also meant dealing with occasional feelings of isolation and limited real-time support from teammates or supervisors. The metrics-driven environment sometimes made it feel like quantity was prioritized over quality, which could be frustrating when trying to provide the best service possible. Additionally, the repetitive nature of customer inquiries could lead to burnout over time. Despite these challenges, the experience was still a meaningful step in my career journey.

Pros

Flexible schedule with 4 different shifts is probably the best thing

Cons

Pay sucks, performance reviews don’t amount to much, literally anywhere else you go you can probably make more
