Pros

Competitive starting pay compared to many retail and warehouse jobs. Good benefits for eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match. Career advancement opportunities through internal promotions and programs like Career Choice. Career Choice tuition assistance helps pay for college, certifications, and trade programs in high-demand fields. Flexible scheduling at many locations, including full-time, part-time, reduced-time, and seasonal shifts. Weekly pay in many locations. Paid time off (PTO), vacation, and holiday pay for eligible employees. No prior experience required for many entry-level warehouse positions. Fast hiring process, often with no traditional interview. Transfer opportunities between different Amazon facilities and locations

Cons

Physically demanding work, including standing for 10–12 hours, lifting, bending, and walking long distances. Repetitive tasks that can become monotonous over time. Strict productivity expectations, with performance tracked using metrics. Mandatory overtime may be required during busy seasons. Night, weekend, or holiday shifts are common depending on your schedule.

Pros

I'm not from a tech background, but learned about some concepts and joined Amazon as a new grad. It was like a dream come true, and there's a lot of room to grow and learn as an engineer. Amazon expects you to follow their core LP qualities, and Yearly review and compensation depend on LeaderShip qualities you show as an engineer.

Cons

- Stressful - No WLB
