Basically enslaved

Pros

Benefits are good, and coworkers are cool

Cons

You have a scanner that basically enslaves you. It keeps track of production time. So if you don’t scan something within 5 min you’re going to get TOT “time of task” which your manager will write you up for. 3 of these TOT’s and you are fired. Most bathrooms are at least a 5 min walk. So unless you run or speed walk, you’ll probably take 15 min going and coming from the bathroom. 5 min to use it and 10 min to walk back fourth to your station. And Just like that boom a manager will come talk to you about why you have 15 min of TOT. This is micro managing on the next level. You have a computer system and a physical human manager basically babysitting you. Stay far away from Amazon!!!
