Pros

Fast paced development. Great development tools, access to principal engineers and other senior engineers one can learn from.

Cons

Most of the software development managers are clueless bean counters who know next to nothing about engineering, but still love to order people around and do not hesitate to show "who's the boss".

Pros

Amazon truly live with its leadership principles. There is plenty of opportunities to learn and grow if you wish to invest in your career growth! Culture is good blend of startup and mature organization, Amazon makes you stronger.

Cons

Middle level management is not living the core values of the organization, there are some serious cultural red flags and it's affecting many teams and organization as a whole.
