• Not nearly enough pay for the work/hours expected unless you're just getting started • Yearly raises have become nonexistent for operations leaders post-COVID (didn't get a raise at all '23-'25 despite getting something every prior year) • Promotions once you reach leadership are 100% based on popularity, not merit • Senior and mid-senior leaders have been caught actively lying to give credit for someone else's achievements to their favorites • You will be required to work hours well in excess of your contractually agreed amount of days and times, and the company can change your schedule at any time for any or no reason with minimal notice • Buildings themselves are poorly built. My last site was a 2-year-old new construction building with heavy roof leakage and a load bearing wall that had shifted a full 4 inches from its foundation * I was fired for using my personal time (100% illegal termination reason in IL) after nearly a decade with the company, during which time I saved my organizations hundreds of thousands of dollars or more through direct action and process improvement ** Stock awards have dropped off significantly. Used to get 2-7 a year before the 20-way split when they were worth more than $3500 each. Now you're lucky to get 5 for 1/20th the value each

some managers are really bad
