Pros

At Amazon you get to work with very smart people. There are a ton of different, interesting things going on at the company, so if you want to try something new you can transfer internally.

Cons

Lacks all the flasky perks that a Google or Meta would have. Also, because the company is so large decisions and hiring get done in a very process oriented way; exceptions don't get made often. While I had a good experience due to my great manager and teammates , Amazon can be cutthroat is you end up on a team with bad culture
