Pros

- Compensation - Flexible despite 5 day RTO (team-dependent) - You will learn what it is like being a SWE outside of just developing (design process, working with multiple stakeholders, etc.)

Cons

- Political asf, people act like a dog begging for a bone for any sort of leadership validation/visibility - Slow development cycles (might be a pro to some lol) - Hack work is extremely common and shortcuts are almost always taken
