Pros

Good money for short time employment

Cons

Amazon has a quota of 5% that need to be let go for every manager. If you are new, chances are high that you will be selected to be put on a performance plan then let go. PIP is designed in a way for you to fail, you can try to pass like many people have but failure rate is over 90%.

Pros

- Good pay - working on impactful projects - Collaboration with talented engineers - Learning how to run projects and teams the Amazon way

Cons

- Worst management ever in my 17 years career, not empathetic and not at all striving to be best world's employer ( one of the last LPs) if not trying to be the worst. - Over applying the processes and LPs in a dumb manner sometimes, no adaptability no creativity - Your previous experience is completely ignored, you hear a lot you need to learn the amazon way. - A lot of politics, if you know the system you can twick it for your favour. - Not as inclusive as Amazon states, regular late meetings with US leadership ignoring the time difference. - Stressful environment on which only delivering results counts not the people at all - Treated as kids with the RTO communication

Pros

Good pay scale and challenging work with great learning opportunities.

Cons

Highly demanding and pressurising work almost throughout the year (could vary from team to team).
