Pros

Not much. If you are a laggard and like old technology Amazon (not AWS) maybe your place.

Cons

There is a strong Indian majority which sets the Amazon culture. This culture penalizes critical, innovative thinkers and praises incremental innovation so that same old people can keep their seats. Amazon doesn't care about culture and its people as long as they make money. Amazon has no problem in exploiting its employees. Almost all employees are only from India and they don't welcome people from different countries including US born citizens.

* Horrible Work Life balance, to a point I got sick due to the pressure and lack of sleep. * Management doesn't care anymore, company doesn't have a clear direction. *No increase in pay in the last 3 years. * Oncall rotation is a nightmare.
