Pros

Amazon scale, AWS, distributed systems, Microservice architecture is something that everyone learns about. It is great company who is starting there career or they are the earlier stages of their career. You get to learn a lot, once you have worked for company like Amazon other companies you might star performer.

Cons

Work culture is cut throat, very high expectations and you must dedicate your whole time to the company if you want to survive. Lately there is not even talk about work life harmony, even if you the best, there is lingering stress of layoffs and there is no job security.
