Amazon offers a lot of oppurtunities for young adults looking for work
Pros
They hire on a first-come-first-serve basis and don't descriminate. You could have tattoos, piercings, etc. As long as you can work well, they're more likely to hire you as long as you come to take your ID photo and pass your drug test. They train you on what you need to know and offer other jobs you can be trained on within the building. Not to mention they offer a lot of benefits, such as dental, mental, and financial assistance for you and your family.
Cons
It is very hard to get hired, as there's always someone waiting on the website to apply, so you have to be steadfast. The opportunity will disappear in an instant. Some downsides are possibly the distance. If you don't live close by, by and live more in the city, it'll take you at least thirty minutes by vehicle or one to two hours on public transportation. You will be working with different kinds of people, nearly any kind you can think of. If you struggle with social anxiety or being around different kinds of people, this job isn't the one for you. One more thing is that the shift is five hours, but breaks are only 15 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this job if the break time sounds like something unbearable.
