Pros

Very strong peers to learn from. Strong focus on deployment visibility/granularity. Dog food operational and service platforms/tooling for team work.

Cons

Difficult to compete with peers while maintaining personal life balance. Formal mentorship is unlikely, with everyone being busy. Be ready to lean into agentic IDE/CLI and solve your own problems.

Pros

Exposure to large-scale distributed systems and cutting-edge cloud tech that you won’t see in most other companies.

Cons

Workload and on-call can be very demanding depending on the team; burnout is a real risk if boundaries aren’t managed.
