Pros

There are no longer any pros for working at Amcor.

Cons

Most depts are seriously and strategically understaffed. High turnover with little, if any backfill. It is mind-boggling to see which people do get promoted. Inconsistent messaging from management.

Hi, thanks for leaving us a review. We are disappointed that your experience at Amcor has not been better. The only way we can make improvements is to listen to feedback. As with many industries and organizations at the moment, Amcor has also been affected by the global pandemic resulting in labor shortages. We hope to see this as a short term challenge and are working hard to fill open positions. At the same time, Amcor applauds the hard work and dedication of its employees throughout the pandemic, thanks to all employees who make it possible. If you would like to provide us with more information, we would be happy to listen at feedback@amcor.com

Supervisors Need Training

Pros

Pay and Benefits are good and Strive program is great.

Cons

If you are over 40 don’t count on advancing in the company. Supervisors tell you what to do, they don’t listen. Obvious favoritism especially if you are young.

Pros

Good products, interesting work, updated faclilites

Cons

The management team didn't do a good job of inclusion. If you were "liked" you could get away with doing next to nothing. If you were someone who truly wanted to improve processes, communications, reduce the plant vs office mentality you were dismissed. Information was held tightly by those who felt threaten and individuals were able to treat others disrespectful just because they wanted to.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are disappointed to hear that you didn't have a better experience, especially that you did not feel included and that there was a lack of collaboration. Collaboration is a core value at Amcor and should guide the way we do work. We clearly have some more work to do in embedding the Amcor value deeper throughout the organisation and thank you for letting us know. If you would like to leave any other comments you can reach out to feedback@amcor.com.
