      work people to the bone, replace you with younger people if you don't work hard, don't give raises or bonuses for the past 5 years. just lay you off if they aren't getting enough money from the client

      I highly recommend Amdocs, Champaign, IL - if you want to - forget you are a human - transform yourself into machine without any feelings -enjoy office politics and nano-management at its best The "worst company" I ever worked for is Amdocs, Champaign, IL You will be given a raise or promotion, for finding out that Earth has a satellite called Moon - if your management likes you. You won't be given a single penny raise even if you walk to the moon and come back - if your management doesn't like you. The management expects you to be its slave. IT management is worst of all Wish there were an option to give negative stars !!! Don't even consider working there even if they make you CEO and offer $1 Billion package

      Pros

      Good benefits including salary, bonus, health insurance, 401K and a generous amount of vacation days compared to other places in the US.

      Cons

      The company management had failed in almost every way to keep this company relevant. Today in this company there are a substantial amount of employees which work with technologies which were invented over 20 years ago. Over the years Amdocs has failed to renew itself and keep up to date with the market and thus its future is uncertain. The company is currently straggling and reducing costs and employees (especially anywhere besides India), I guess they want to turn into Tech Mahindra rather than become more like Google :) Another downside is that the company doesn't provide an adequate work/life balance.
