Worked there for 15+ years, it was a good company to work for and was improving once they started applying Agile methodology. Sadly it all went downhill once upper management refused to change. The company also pretends to care about work life balance, but recognition always was given to overworked people. Career plan in my region is very limited and you are kind of forced to become a manager as technical positions past development specialist seems reserved to very specific people from specific regions. Now the company is facing a crisis were almost all very experienced people ended up becoming managers, while a lot of people with good tech experience are quitting, in part because they don’t see themselves growing in such a company. To top it off, upper management is becoming more and more aggressive with employees, first by forcing people to come back to office 3 days a week and heavily controlling it, then by freezing everyone’s salary this year, and finally by laying off 2000+ people without even considering their allocation or performance. I know it may look like a personal issue with the company, but it is not. This review is sincere.

Promotions are relatively slow, and based on conversations with former colleagues who’ve moved on, it seems like raises are comparatively low
