      Pros

      Working in Amdocs PBG for 2 years. Amazing people . Recent new technological adoption helped me to get the chance to work on it.

      Nothing as such but Amdocs delivery doesn't have quality work

      Pros

      Employee-friendly organisation. For those who like to work in a relaxed culture, it is amazing (except in support projects). I have seen many people working for 20 years in a row there and people returning even after leaving. Lots of added advantage in terms of money- variable bonus(not part of CTC), club points, amazon/ICICI card once a year. Another thing for which Amdocs is known is for its food. Free breakfast, fruits, subsidized lunch buffet and free evening snacks. Lots of events being organized through out the year by the company as well as campus.

      Cons

      If you love to work and learn, it may disappoint you. Company lack good R&D projects. Less work satisfaction.

      Pros

      The only pros are : 1) Onsite exposure ,limited to some unit 2) Good facilities like free fruits, subsidized lunch, etc 3) Good culture limited to only few units. Other unit like ADM and Support have worst culture.

      Cons

      Amdocs is loosing good projects, hence they have started firing with any reason. They will force you to resign. 1) If you work for more than an year in Amdocs you will loose all your technical skill except UNIX or shell scripting, joined as a JAVA developer was forced to work on support projects where we just had to bounce the processes. 2) Very less pay for developers, ever lesser bonus 3) Were asked to work on weekends without any compensatory off or extra pay. 4) The PDP process is the worst part where the Manager tries to prove you have done nothing. 5) If you are getting fired from Amdocs no other company will hire you except for Support companies, because you know nothing technical.
