There are some great benefits to working at AFCU. Growth opportunities, paid holidays, paid time off, and tuition assistance to name a few.

Cons

Direct management sucks. They don't care about their employees, I've found this at many branches, so its not one individual. The other thing is that the pay is way less than at other financial institutions. You can go anywhere else and find the same positions for way more.

It could have been better with salary & benefit

Good training for someone new without any experience with bank. Schedule is flexible sometimes.

Cons

The salary is not good enough to keep good staff for the branch. If you want to get good bonus, you'd better do more cross-sell. They should have more benefits for full-time employees. Friday always feels like a long working day because they always have meetings to start at 8 or 7:45am then work till 6:15pm.
