Pros

The location and compensation were adequate. The medical benefits were excellent. The training as a mechanic and heavy equipment operating experience were beneficial. Safety is a value.

Cons

The Company policies in dealing with union employees in times of reduction in force is unconscionable and corrupt. The policies and procedures for plant operation are vague.

Pros

Location downtown is convenient and fun. Environment is fast-paced. The generation floor is a fun place to work. It's nice to work for a company that's headquartered in the city you work.

Cons

Old-fashioned at times. Utility mentality. Some folks are managing people because they were good at their previous job, not because they are good at developing people. This is the type of place where you need to put in 2 years or more sitting in the same seat before you will be given a new opportunity.
