      There are better places to work - culture is poor

      Pros

      Stable company. Dedicated mid-level staff, managers, analysts, coordinators. Provides an essential service for modern living.

      Cons

      The culture is poor, and it all starts at the executive level. Incredibly difficult to advance. Thinly staffed, many employees in reality are performing extra work without receiving additional compensation for it. Employees are viewed as interchangeable commodities that can be replaced. Recent talent exodus as employees with other options seem reluctant to stick around.

      Pay & Benefits - especially vacation, sick, 401K and Pension.

      Cons

      'Good ole boys network' . I was a contractor for 6 years and then offered a full time employee position. I wasn't in the 'boys club' and forced out.
