Pros
American Family is like a family in a sense. There is a lot of support for work/life balance, and support for helping employees excel in their careers. The company is very supportive of professional development, inside or outside of the company. Great vacation, benefits, insurance, etc!
Cons
Communication between departments is poor. This cause lots of disconnects company-wide that could be easily prevented. Many individuals of the mangement teams are fabulous, but there are also some who are absolutely HORRIBLE, and I can't understand why they have not been called out buy now (after so many years). While I realize budget is a large concern, I feel American Family doesn't take the best approach when looking at areas for cutting the expenses.
