Pros

Great pay and benefits, Monday-Friday.

Cons

Was informed by management, numbers over customer service. Software and systems go down daily, making calls difficult, and the metrics regardless of slowness or circumstances go against you. Attempted to stay within the company and change roles, had the position and it was pulled from under me.

Pros

PTO was generous after the Brookfield takeover.

Cons

They are regularly dishonest with employees and agents. Any credibility that the executives had with anyone has been completely obliterated. They have regular mass layoffs and nearly everyone is looking to leave the organization. Their recent merger has put profit above people but frankly, the carrier was mismanaged before the merger. It’s only gotten worse as there is no communication, just theater. CEO is just a figurehead and not one that gives you any confidence. His direct reports are useless. Unless you’re into annuities, avoid the carrier like the plague!

Pros

Good Benefits, The medical insurance they have for employees is really good. Pay is Good!

Cons

Everything, ever since merging companies they have declined drastically, they are failing the employees, concerns and values and do not really care about how you feel or take in consideration of all the extra added work we were doing since the merge and gave little to no indication that changes were being made. They do not accommodate anyone's request or take in anyone's consideration I was there for years, and barley spoke to anyone when I gave my two weeks' notice I wasn't recognized or given any goodbyes. Just Came in quietly during covid and left without any goodbyes. My stress levels were sky rocketing working a ridiculous amount t of hours from home then was supposed to immediately come back into the office after 5 years at home after signing contract to stay remote, then was going to lose my hours because they decided to bring everyone back into the office. They didnt accomodate us with our scoring system even though everything had changed drastically so our numbers were completely off. Horrible management, would have panic attacks after work and during Due to stress. I took a pay cut just to leave this company, no amount of money is worth my health declining or the stress I endured with this company wouldn't not recommend.
